What you need to know about the 2024 Class 1A and 2A state finals


The 2024 Illinois High School Association Class 1A and 2A baseball state finals are May 31 and June 1 at Dozer Park in Peoria, home of the St. Louis Cardinals Single-A affiliate, the Peoria Chiefs.

Friday May 31

  • Class 1A semifinal – Ottawa Marquette / East Dubuque winner vs. Glen Carbon Father McGivney/Jacksonville Rout winner, 10am
  • Class 1A semifinal – Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley / Annawan/Wethersfield winner vs. Altamont/Elizabethtown Hardin County winner, 1 p.m
  • Class 2A semifinal – Maroa-Forsyth / Litchfield winner vs. Sterling Newman/Chicago Hope Academy winner, 4 p.m
  • Class 2A semifinal — Winner Wilmington / Peoria Notre Dame vs. winner Mount Carmel / Effingham St. Anthony, 7 p.m.

Saturday June 1

  • Class 1A third place game — Losers semi-final, 10 a.m
  • Class 1A Championship — Semi-final winners, 1 p.m
  • Class 2A third place game — Losers semi-final, 4 p.m
  • Class 2A Championship — Semi-final winners, 7 p.m

IHSA Baseball State Finals Location and Tickets

The Class 1A and 2A baseball finals are May 31 and June 1 at Dozer Park in Peoria. The field is located at 730 SW Jefferson Ave. in Peoria. General admission tickets cost $11 for each session. There are four sessions in total, two for 1A and 2A. You can get them here.
