Army kills a Palestinian child near Hebron |

On Sunday, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian child, shot two young men and kidnapped a father and son in separate incidents near the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian child on Sunday evening after an alleged stabbing attempt at the Beit Einun junction, northeast of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health quoted the General Authority for Civil Affairs, which announced that a 14-year-old child, identified as Majd Shaher Araminwas killed by the occupying forces.

Media sources said Israeli soldiers opened fire on the child after he allegedly attempted a stabbing attempt, although no injuries were reported among the military.

It added that while the injured child lay bleeding on the ground, the military denied him medical treatment by preventing ambulance personnel from approaching him, resulting in his death.

Israeli forces have now killed 520 Palestinian civilians, including 130 children, while twenty Palestinians have been killed by illegal paramilitary Israeli settlers in various regions of the occupied West Bank since October 7, 2023.

In related news, occupation forces shot two Palestinian young men and wounded others during a raid on the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, on Sunday afternoon.

Media sources said Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Arroub refugee camp, sparking protests among local Palestinian youth.

Soldiers opened fire with rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters. during which two young men were shot with steel bullets, leaving others with respiratory injuries from exposure to tear gas.

Meanwhile, occupying forces kidnapped a father and his son in the afternoon while preventing them from grazing their livestock in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Media sources said Israeli soldiers kidnapped the civilian, Issa Younis and his son, Mohammedwhile grazing their sheep near Janba village, Masafer Yatta.
